Fewer snowmen in my neck of the woods, but a heavenly doe wandered by outside my window yesterday and took my breath away. Thanks for the comment about my father -- he's my boyfriend's father actually, and he's hanging in there. He says he's not ready to go yet. The cars buried under all that snow is something I've only seen on roads up to ski fields. I think I let go of expectations for Christmas day a while ago, too, because my family goings on have always been a bit weird that day.
