Hi Catrien.
I just did some research about spring in Japan and learned that it is called the Hanami season and that sakura is the Japanese word for cherry blossom. The pictures I saw were gorgeous. Enjoy your spring :-)

Davina, thank you for visiting and commenting on my blog.

I deeply appreciate this spring journey you shared as I could travel along with you. The daffodils are now blooming in my mountain garden. Spring here in Japan is glorious, too - Catrien Ross.

Hi Cath.
Nice to see you again! I do love that island; there is just something about it. A lot of people live there and commute as it's only a 20-minute ferry ride. The dark dreary days are hard to take for a lot of people. I hope you are feeling better now... it's a good sign to see you again. And yes, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your move. Let me know how you're making out with your research and if there is anything I can do to help.

Hi Stacey.
Ya gotta love just sitting on the back deck. One of my favourite past times... when I had a back deck, that is :-) And just think of all the months ahead of you with warm days to enjoy on that deck. I'm not a fan of the cold either and you'd think I'd be used to it after growing up in northern Ontario. Nope!
