Proofreading and editing feedback is supplied in one of two ways:

1. Microsoft Word file with tracked changes
2. Marked-up PDF

Please supply a PDF or Microsoft Word file for review.

Include in your quote request:

1. Estimated word count in Microsoft Word file/page count in PDF
2. For fiction or non-fiction books, indicate what stage your manuscript is at
3. Projected timeline (important when considering rates as shown below)
4. Fact-checking requirements
5. For PDFs, indicate if a copy deck will be supplied for a comparison read

Rates

Advertising clients:
Regular service: $60/hr
Overnight or weekends: $75/hr

Authors:
Cost will vary, depending on the amount of editing that is necessary. Overall, the rate of $50/hr applies and is negotiable.

Note: A 50% deposit is required for new clients and large projects.
